Salary: Range B SC5-6 £26,531 – £29, 999 pro rata
Hours: 36hrs p/w. (Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri 8.15-4.30pm, Thurs 8.15-4.45pm)
Term Time only (39 weeks per year with the possibility of additional weeks)

We are an ‘Outstanding’ maintained Nursery School with an Early Years SEN Resource Base, set in the heart of the vibrant, multi-cultural area of North Kensington. We offer excellent opportunities for professional development within a well-resourced, Early Year’s environment. We offer 70 full-time equivalent places, in addition to 20 places for children aged 2- 3. The school is oversubscribed and popular with families in the local communities. Children attend either full time or part time and before and after school and holiday care are also offered.
We wish to appoint a qualified Nursery Officer to work as part of a team with our 2-3 year olds, with infectious enthusiasm and commitment to achieving best practice and improved outcomes for all children. You will have responsibility for a curriculum area which includes planning focus activities, assessment and monitoring of children’s progress. You will be key person to a group of approximately 10 children. You will be qualified to level 3 in Childcare and Development (or equivalent). A thorough knowledge of how children learn and develop and the ability to plan for the next steps in learning is essential. You will be committed to providing high quality play and learning opportunities, within the framework of the EYFS, and to working in partnership with parents.
